I am SO excited for my next book.
I have been wanting to make this for a long while… and it is ready to hit the presses.
I just need YOUR FEEDBACK on which cover to choose!
Once again, Little Miss Missy put her incredible talent to work and she has come up with some covers for me to choose from.
But, first let me tell you about the book:
Have you ever considered how many names of Christ there are?
Try and name 10 right now…. (this makes a great FHE lesson by the way. See how many names your kiddos can come up with.)
Each name, or title, of Christ gives you insight into His character, and the more we understand why He deserves that name, the more we understand Him.
One of the greatest things I have done is to take His names and study them in depth. The insight I gained! That was such a great use of my time.
In this new book, I have taken over 70 of his names and titles used in the scriptures and listed one at the top of each page with an outline for you to be able to study each name.
So, all I need you to do is to tell me which is YOUR FAVORITE COVER!
I am looking for one cover that both boys and girls will like as well as teenagers and adults. That is not an easy thing….

My favorite is C!
C for sure! The others are trendy and nice, but C really reflects on the simpleness of Christ and the colors remind me of his robes.
I was drawn to C, that would be my first choice. D and G are also nice.
I really love the color of G, but it might be too feminine, so my second choice is E.

Definitely C. It is the easiest to read but still looks fun and incorporates all the names. It isn’t cluttered and I think is a good layout design-wise.

My personal favorite is G but I think it is probably more on the feminine side. My ultimate anybody favorite is A.

G is my personal favorite, but I think E is more general for all audiences.
C. I think it encompasses all that you are looking for. It is simple too. I love simple beautiful covers for books that are about Christ. Can’t wait to read it!
I like D and H. The different sized fonts are always fun but I can’t see a boy with G. Great idea btw!

The first four look like official church books if that is what you are going for-I think the last four look way more interesting to read/use. They would be more eye-catching to me on a bookstore shelf

Know by chance when you will have the HOuse of Israel book done? I know several people who are interested in that book… i’m one of them =)

Just a suggestion…..It would be great to be able to open these journals out flat. So, a different binding would be easier when writing in these awesome journals.

I really like D, but better if you did it in the burgundy to make it more universal. And H. I like the ones that in the title, the word “Christ” stands out above all others….the titles where the font and size are similar to the “names” get lost.

I love the red – it symbolizes Christ to me so I would have to go with C or I do like A for coloring, but not the banner so much – more like E – with “Names of Christ” standing out simply because it is a different color and a little bolder.

I think that “C” or “G” are best. “C” is probably the better for both male and female. Thank you for helping me to discover the “joy” of studying the scriptures!
I like C because of the red and because it emphasizes Christ in the title. If there are concerns that it is feminine, maybe you could try it without the swirly embellishment below the title.
I like ‘C’….clean and readable….and Christ is the focal point!

G is also good, but it’s hard to see the name of the book and the color seems not quite right for the topic. The red used in C is the best color, since that’s familiar from the painting of the Savior in red robes.
I like B, but I think the colors of C are more fitting.
I love G and H. Everyone says C…but I don’t think it’d attract a younger audience. Love them all!

It’s funny Shannon, I have started a list of the savior’s names and was planning on finding and studying the scripture’s with his different names. I listed him as one of my topics. I wrote Jesus Christ our Savior on dotted line then with color pens I have written the his other names surrounding Jesus Christ. Him and Mary are the first two from the scripture’s I plan on studying. I have many more that I would love to study. You just might think of doing a whole list of scripture hero’s. I also like the other ladies suggestion doing one on the House of Israel.

E,F,G,H – I love the names covering the whole book. I feel like you get a better sense of the magnitude and importance of all of these titles.
I like D, then B because they look official and solid…and then G for the younger crowd…

They are all nice,but to have the universal appeal to both sexes and all ages, I would recommend H.

I do love the option C … but think you need to realize that all women are responding to your question.
Though I love it, I don’t see myself buying it for my husband or sons. I think A and D are more universal than C, (though I love it). I also see the E and G options as being appealing to younger and older groups – both male and female.
You can’t go wrong though. She has done an amazing job designing the covers.

I took a poll in my home… My without a doubt favorite is C for all the reasons stated by others.. my teenage son liked E, 2 teenage girls G but I will say that G was number 2 choice for myself and my son… so I guess G one overall in my home.
