It is that time of year again! These journals have been some of our most popular items and have had the most re-orders from year to year! We are so happy they are such a benefit to you. And this year they are better than they have ever been! Plus we have a matching printable package with TONS of great things for the 2015 mutual theme, “O ye that embark in the service of God”.
As before, we have TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF BOOKS.
1. THE STUDY GUIDE: The Study guide is an in-depth, 298 page book (or downloadable file), that helps you study over 100 Gospel topics. The topics coincide with the Sunday School and Young Women Come Follow Me curriculum and can make GREAT study material for anyone.
2. LESSON NOTES: This is a 100 page class journal meant for youth to take notes in class. They are really neat inside and there are 2 different options for covers (one for a girl and another for a guy). This book can be ordered for a church group at a discounted rate ($6.50 per journal). Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, give us your ward name and number of books you will be ordering and we will send you the discount code.
Check out the pictures below to understand both books. First we will show you the STUDY GUIDE:
You can see above that the study guide is a page filled with templates that you can study and fill in. Every page is specific to the topic you are studying. The question in the picture above is “How does the Holy Ghost help me teach the gospel?” and the page is then filled with scriptures, study activities and a really great General Conference talk.
This page covers the topic “How can I help others understand my standards?”.
These pages are designed so you can combine resources like the scriptures, General Conference reports, True to the Faith, etc. onto one page. It is really great topical study.
The great thing about this book is that you can use it for personal, family or class study. It really helps everyone study on their own so you can have a great discussion after.
Here is a shot of the Table of Contents. You can see the kind of topics it covers.
And here are the LESSON NOTES. These are the books meant for youth to take to church and record what they are learning in class.
This book comes in both of the covers you see above. The back of the book shows the Come Follow Me topics for each month.
Here is the Table of Contents. You can see what is inside the book here.
Besides note pages for lessons, there is also a calendar where the youth can record birthdays, activities, reading goals, etc.. There are also 5 pages with questions and learning activities to help them understand the 2015 mutual theme, and keep those pages with them all year long!
Here is a shot of the calendar inside. There are two months per page.
This is the shot of the note pages for the lessons. There is one page for each Sunday of each month. You can see the top of each page has the monthly topic with a place for each person to write the lesson topic/question. Something like this seems so simple, but can really help the class keep in mind what the lesson is about that day.
Also, if someone misses a lesson, they can borrow another person’s journal and write down some important points.
The bottom of each page has four boxes. The boxes help the class evaluate what they learn, apply it to their lives, and make personal goals. The boxes contain the following:
– Because of this lesson I will:
– Something we talked about today I would like to study more:
– A spiritual goal I have this week:
– I will serve God this week by: (this goes with the 2015 mutual theme)
Along with the note pages for the lessons, at the beginning of each month there is study activity to help those you are teaching understand the doctrine. You can choose to use these in class, or challenge them to do these on their own.
You can find these books in the following places:
