Can you believe that we have completed all of the revelations in the Doctrine and Covenants? Here is what we will be studying over the next three weeks - and then it will be Old Testament!

- Dec 6-12: Articles of Faith and Official Declarations 1 and 2.
- Dec 13-19: The Family: A Proclamation to the World
- Dec 20-26: Christmas
- Dec 27-Jan 2: Begin the Old Testament! (Moses 1 and Abraham 3)

I had a few people read the study pages for Articles of Faith and the Official Declarations, and everyone agrees that these are absolutely fascinating and so important to understand. I am excited for you to study them.

And don't miss the 1800 activities this month - they are all focused on Christmas activities.

We may have to call our Primary Bundle by a new name next year because it seems to limit those who believe they can benefit from all of the amazing things it includes!

Here are a few pieces in the kit that can be used in any home. (There are even more than what we have mentioned in this post!)

Article of Faith Kit. There are so many ways to use this as a family (or individual!) There are reward ideas, posters, flash cards and so many great ways to learn and display.

Monthly Posters are an awesome purchase for families to have up each month for Come,Follow Me. They are beautiful enough to be framed and put in a prominent place in your home. (There is also Art Study pages as part of teaching ideas at home. Learn about the symbolism the Artist added to each Art Piece!)

The Character Posters can be displayed, or the smaller sizes can be laminated and used multiple times as part of family lessons.

Reading Charts for individuals or printed as a large display for the whole family to be a part of.

Coloring Book! Print all at once or when the art aligns with what you choose to teach your family!

The Bulletin Board Posters can even decorate a kids toy room or bedroom!

You can also use the Bulletin Board to decorate for An Introduction to Old Testament Come, Follow Me Family Lesson/Party.

#lighttheworld starts tomorrow! Here are a few tips for these free #lighttheworld cards:

1. Let your kids cut them out.

2. If you don't have a specific plan to use them, let your kids come up with a plan.

3. Don't try to do one every day (unless your kids want to of course). Just use the cards to help make lighting the world on your minds as a family.

4. Let your kids add their own cards with their own ideas!

Below are some ideas of ways you can use these cards - but you can adapt them, change the ideas, or whatever fits you best.

* Leave the pile of cards near an advent calendar filled with treats or small prizes. If they do one of the cards, they can put it IN the advent calendar, and take out the treat.

* Leave the pile of cards near a nativity. Every time they do one of the cards, they put it in the nativity as a gift (like the wise men gave gifts).

* Make the cards into ornaments and have a #lighttheworld tree. Every time a family member does one of the cards, they add it to the tree.
