f you long for a miracle in your life, don't miss f you long for a miracle in your life, don't miss next week's beautiful chapters.

Although just five chapters long, the reading this week is packed with miracles – some familiar and some that may be newer to you.

What can we do to receive miracles in our own lives? As we read about Elisha and the miraculous events he was able to bring about through Christ, we can receive meaningful insights for our own lives and better understand how we can bring to pass God’s will, even in miraculous ways.

Here are some of my favorite things in next week's kit to help you teach these powerful truths to your children:

- I'm excited for you to see this paint or color by numbers of Naaman's miracle. My own daughter LOVED it and we were able to have a beautiful conversation about Naaman's humility as we painted. You can use colored pencils, any kind of paint or even crayons.

- The flashlight page is so good for all ages. It powerfully teaches that it is Christ who is the source of all that we seek. All you need to do is print the two pages from the kit onto regular paper and hold up a flashlight to see Christ behind each miracle.

- The art this week is called "The Simpleness of the Way". Use it to teach your children that most of the time, the prophets ask us to do small and simple things. But as we humble ourselves and follow his counsel, miracles can come to pass for us as they did for Naaman.

Download your kit today or buy it on our website for $5. If you want to try it out for a month it's the same price - just use the code '50OFF'.
A beautiful way to use this week's summer story, w A beautiful way to use this week's summer story, would be to listen as you bake bread just the way the Widow of Zarephath would have.

As your children knead and feel the dough in their hands and you fill your home with the smell of freshly baked bread, listen to this tender story told from the widow's perspective and talk about the miracle the Lord blessed her with.

The instructions are very simple and are in the Learning through Fun section of the kit. You'll just need wholewheat flour, olive oil and water.

Let me know if you try it!
If you've ever wondered just what exactly is insid If you've ever wondered just what exactly is inside one of our weekly kits, then this post is for you!

On our website we have made available a kit from earlier in the year that you can look inside, download, print and even save to your computer if you would like to.

Come and see what all the fuss is about!

Come and see how these tools to help you understand and teach the scriptures could be a blessing in your home.

I'll link to it in stories, but here's where to find it:

1. Go to our website (link in bio)
2. Click on the Blog (one of the tabs on the top of the homepage)
3. Go to the post called "See a kit for free"
4. Download the kit and see all the goodness.

This is one of those scripture stories. One of tho This is one of those scripture stories. One of those stories that is always there in the back of my mind, filling me with faith and hope.

When feelings of fear have crept in and I wonder if I will be able to have what my family needs as uncertainty grows in the world - I think of the story of Elijah and the widow of Zarephath. I can’t tell you how many times this story has come into my mind over the past few years.

This story, planted in my mind many years ago, has come up again and again reminding me to do all I can and then trust in the Lord.

I think of how many sleepless nights that widow must have experienced as she saw her flour and oil dwindling and dwindling away. Maybe its okay if she didn’t have enough for her - but her son! What about her son?

I wonder about all of the things she must have tried in order to get more food. How long had she been trying? How desperately she must have tried.

As she pled and prayed for a miracle, imagine what she might have prayed for. Maybe someone giving her food? Perhaps a sudden end to the famine?

But certainly not the Israelite prophet coming to her from far away. She wasn’t even an Israelite.

But that is how the Lord delivered the miracle - in a very unexpected way.

Then the tiny amount of food she had left became enough. Every day after that they were living in the miracle.

Something that was once so desperate then became glorious.

Has the Lord ever delivered you in an unexpected way?
