Lead Marketing Designer & Content Producer

(Full-Time, Remote, 1099 Contractor)

This role is more than just creating content—it’s about growing faith and increasing a love for the scriptures through the products we create and the media we produce. Every video, image, and post you design will play a role in helping individuals connect with and apply gospel teachings. What You’ll Do

• Create Engaging Content – Design and produce marketing images, videos, reels, and social media content that align with our brand and messaging.
• Build a Cohesive Brand – Ensure all marketing materials (both digital and print) maintain a consistent and professional visual identity.
• Optimize for Impact – Craft content that resonates with our audience, drives engagement, and increases brand awareness.
• Lead Social Media Visual Strategy – Develop eye-catching and shareable social media content tailored to different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with marketing best practices, content trends, and platform algorithms to maximize reach and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Team – Work alongside our writers, designers, and marketing professionals to bring campaigns to life.
• Leverage Technology – Utilize AI-driven tools and other advanced marketing technologies to enhance content creation and performance.
• Produce High-Quality Ads – Develop compelling advertising assets, including reels, banners, and social media campaigns, optimized for engagement and conversion.

Who You Are

We’re looking for an A+ player and creative powerhouse who understands both design principles and marketing strategy. Our work is purposeful, and we need someone who’s not only skilled in marketing and design but also committed to our mission of helping others learn and grow through scripture study.

• Extensive Consumer Marketing Experience – Proven ability to create engaging consumer-facing content that drives results. 5+ years of experience is preferred. Retail and technology experience is a plus.
• Thrives in a Fast-Paced Environment – Must work well in an intense, high-output setting as part of a specialized 3-5 person marketing team.
• LDS Market Knowledge – You understand LDS culture and audience preferences, helping to create faith-centered, engaging content.
• Content Creation Expert – Strong experience in creating social media graphics, marketing materials, and video content.
• Skilled Designer – Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects). (Bonus: Canva, Asana, Google Suite)
• Strong Visual Storyteller – Ability to craft compelling brand narratives through images, motion graphics, and videos.
• Marketing-Minded – Understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and content optimization.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized – Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay consistent with brand voice.
• Direct Collaboration with Leadership – Will work closely with the CTO-CMO and Marketing Director as the only marketing graphic design team member.
• Strategic Thinker & Executor – Possesses the ability to move seamlessly from high-level strategic concepts to hands-on execution. Demonstrates a keen understanding of the implications of strategy across functions such as marketing and finance while always maintaining the consumer perspective.
• Location Preference: Wasatch Front/Northern Utah area – While remote, candidates must be based in the Wasatch Front area for in-person collaboration, including photo and video shoots for marketing content.
