New Beginnings is all about celebrating the Young Women and Personal Progress programs, and helping incoming Beehives understand what they are about to be a part of! If you’re wondering how to make friends in church, this is a great place to start! It also helps parents understand the program which can help them assist their daughters!
We have given you a darling package with over 45 printable pages so you can pick and choose the things you feel are best for your night.
Included in this package are the following:
1. PRINTABLE INVITATIONS
We have included text fields on the PDF so you can type directly on it with your personal time, date, place, etc. These invitations print 4 on one page. It couldn’t be easier for you!
2. INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL PROGRESS PAGES:
This is a real gem in this package! Print one for each girl and stick their picture on it! Then have the girls mark off which experiences and projects they have already completed. After the event, send them home with the girls as a daily reminder, or keep in a binder in plastic sheets to take to every Personal Progress activity!
3. BEST GUESS QUIZ:
At the beginning of the night have everyone take this “best guess” quiz. This will help everyone stay alert and involved because they will want to know if they got their answers right! PLUS they are more likely to remember what they learn! This is great for incoming Beehives and parents who want to help their daughters be successful with Personal Progress!
This quiz covers some really fun things about the history of young women and its Personal Progress Program. It also covers things like: the different young women classes and names of those classes, the values, projects and experiences for Personal Progress, etc.
4. PRESENTATION:
We have built in a presentation as you go through the answers with everyone! We have given you the answers plus fun information you can add in as you go. This presentation would be really easy to adjust or change as you see fit.
We have also given you several suggestions during different times in the presentation when you might want to have a young woman come up and talk about that question. For example, when you learn about the various projects and experiences in Personal Progress, you might want to have one or two young women come up and talk about one of their projects and experiences.
5. PRESENTATION PRINTS
As you give your presentation we have given you prints you can put up on the board to help visually teach about important aspects of the Young Women Program.
