How Can I Make My Prayers More Meaningful?  May Come Follow Me

This is what we have to offer for this important lesson!  We decided to offer a printable flip book because it is such an effective tool to have!  Not only is it fun to fill in (and color), but tons of important doctrines and principles will be added into the pages and then they can just put them next to their beds!  They can flip through the book often and be reminded of important doctrines and principles as they work on improving their prayers!

This also goes perfectly with Personal Progress Faith Experience #1!

You can find this flip book (and more pictures) here:How Can I Make My Prayers More Meaningful?  May Come Follow Me

We also have it in a discounted combo pack with the prayer prints and DIY prayer block patterns HERE.

Such a fun way to study about Prayer! This print-your-own flip book really helps you dive into True to the Faith, other scriptures and general conference talks - and then you have it all in one place! And you can color and doodle as you learn! Girls would love this!

We designed this to go with the definition of prayer in True to the Faith.  I HIGHLY recommend using that – it is excellent!  The doctrine and principles taught in there are razor sharp – and so I like to do whatever I can to create things to make it easier to comprehend that doctrine and really break it down so our minds can wrap around it and make it a part of our every day lives, thoughts, and actions.

So, instead of reading through the definition, this flip book helps you really break it down, principle by principle.

So there are all of these awesome principles, and each one gets a page so you can write what you learn about this in True to the Faith – and then you can add your own thoughts, experiences, quotes, scriptures, tips, etc.  so that the book is absolutely filled with great information!

This is a 32 page flip book that prints onto 8 pages (there are 4 pages per sheet).  So you just print, cut, punch holes and attach with a string or single book ring.

This could also make a really great group project.  Just set everyone around a table and let them fill in their pages about True to the Faith.  You could then divide up the scriptures and have everyone teach each other about them, and everyone can add to their books as they are being taught.  And then you could throw a bunch of General Conference talks about prayer in the middle of the table and everyone could search them, marking good quotes and sharing with each other possibilities they may want to put into their books.

This month we have some free social media images for you!  All of them match the teaching package too.

How Can I Make My Prayers More Meaningful? May Come Follow Me - FREE social media images! Such a great way to help prepare the youth or follow up after a lesson!

These can be used in any of the following ways:

  • Post on social media to your youth to help get them more prepared, excited, and thinking about the lesson.
  • Use their answers in your lesson (they will be more likely to respond to future social media questions if you do this).
  • Ask them to post the question on their personal social media accounts and gather answers themselves (plus they are sharing the Gospel online!).
  • Text or email the picture to your youth and tell them that you are gathering answers for your lesson and ask them to respond.
  • Use as a follow-up to your lesson.  Post the images that will help reinforce what they learned in class.
  • Use to help involve and teach young women who were not at the lesson on Sunday.
  • You can encourage the young women to comment and participate on social media by telling them that every time they comment you will enter their name into a drawing, and then you will draw out one name and they will get a treat.

Instructions:

  • Right click on picture, save to your computer or phone.
  • Email it to yourself if you need to transfer the image from your computer to your phone.  Then open on your phone and save the images to your phone.
  • Post on social media.

  1. I love your fun, engaging flip-books. I also love how mindful you are of our pocketbooks by requiring only a few pages to printed for such ‘meaty’ content. Perfect for YM & YW. However, I use your products for family and personal study. I find that the flip-books are too disposable. If I am going to do the work to record insights, I want to be able to have a lasting record-not on a key ring vulnerable to wear and tear.

An easy solution would be to offer jpegs or pdfs of the individual pages like you do for most of your other products. I imagine it would be challenging to keep up with all of your customer demands. – Certainly, I can’t be the only one who wishes you had other printing options for these amazing little books. Of course I would be willing to pay for the extra. 🙂

  2. I second the earlier comment. I would love to have this little book in an 8×11 format. I keep all my study pages in a 3-ring binder and it is easy to keep track of. The flip book is a great idea for family activities but for personal study I would prefer a full page.
However, in the meantime, I am enjoying my flipbook and love your wonderful ideas and helps that increase my understanding of the scriptures and principles of the gospel.
    Thank you so much.
