Illustrated Christmas helps you can print from home! A christmas lesson (for kids or adults) and an illustrated book about the nativity! You will learn lots of great things!

We have two REALLY great things for you to help your family or those you teach about Christmas.

Illustrated Christmas helps you can print from home! A christmas lesson (for kids or adults) and an illustrated book about the nativity! You will learn lots of great things!

First we have a really great Nativity Flip Book for you that you can just print, cut and put together.  This would make such a great neighbor gift, class hand out, or party favor.

Every page illustrates part of the Christmas story and quotes scripture.  Also, most of the pages have additional explanation, background or insight.

Here you can see a few of the pages.  The bottom left is the first page and explains who Caesar was and what it meant for him to decree a taxing.  Also, you can see the map where we showed you what the Roman Empire took in and where Israel fit into their dominion.

The bottom right picture is the shepherds going to make it known what they had heard and seen.  When I shared this book with a group this particular page invited a lot of really good thoughts and discussion.  They had heard the nativity so many times but had never stopped to consider the shepherds as individuals and what they saw and how they acted on what they saw.

That is what this book is all about.  To learn more about the nativity and to stop and really consider each person and their important role in building the Kingdom of God.

This Nativity book also has a back cover for the book.   This could be a really fun and neat Christmas gift or something you can set by your nativity so your kids can pick it up and learn more about the Christmas story.

This book also comes with a great activity sheet for kids.  Just give them a flip book, read it with them, and then set them loose with a book of their own.  They will look for pictures, words, and answer trivia questions.

Also, we have a Christmas lesson for you.  This would be good for a family or any class (children to adult) – the lesson is really adaptable.

This comes with prints that can be used with the amazing video He is the Gift.  Those prints also come in a small size that can be made into stands and put in your nativity.

There are  flash cards for your little ones that you can use in a variety of ways (suggestions are in the package).

And there is this:

Illustrated scripture boxes.  Those you are teaching can look up the scriptures and record what is happening in each box.

If I were teaching this lesson to youth or adults, I would do the following:

1.  Play some soft Christmas music in the background

2.  Give each person an illustrated scripture box and give them 15 minutes or so to study and fill it in.  *For best results print onto white card stock. Color always looks better on card stock, and for a special lesson this would give you the best results.

3.  Have some nativity flip books made (the Christmas lesson and the flip book are not in the same package, but you can get them in a combo package HERE).   Either read through the flip book together or pair up those you are teaching and give each one a flip book with the instructions to read it together and add insights to their notes on their scripture boxes.

4.  Put up the “lessons learned from” word strips from the Christmas Lesson package and discuss what you learn from each person.  If you specifically ask them how they fulfilled their role in building the Kingdom of God, you will have a fantastic discussion.

5.  Play this video:  He is the Gift, and discuss each Christmas print saying.  You could also set out a nativity and stand the miniature sayings in the nativity.

*  when you talk about the angels you could also play this video.

You can find the Nativity Flip Book HERE.

  1. WOW. I purchased the combo last night and everything is perfect. I love the flip book – I learned so much. I thought I knew the nativity but I realize there are so many details I never had thought of before. And the scripture boxes really helped me work through the story.

After studying I had my kids do the activity page and then they used your flash cards and sat there and talked about everything they learned. So clever!

    Thank you!
