2013 Mutual Theme,”Stand Ye in Holy Places”- The Red Headed Hostess

Did you know that the 2013 mutual theme has been announced?

It is…

Stand ye in holy places, and be not moved,

until the day of the Lord come; for behold, it cometh quickly, saith the Lord” (Doctrine and Covenants 87:8; emphasis added).

Isn’t that just a WONDERFUL theme?

I love this scripture!  And my mind is just going nonstop thinking about the mutual theme journal for this theme!

So I have a favor for all of you leaders and parents who bought this journal for your kiddos this past year….

In order to make a new and improved journals that are even better than last years,

Will you either leave a message or email me one, some or all of your comments to the questions below?

(If you want to email me then just click on the little envelope under my picture in the right column)

1-  Did these journals help your youth understand and apply the mutual theme?

2-  Did these journals help your youth keep notes in the lessons every Sunday?

3-  Did these journals help keep the mutual theme more a part of your lessons and on your youth’s minds?

4-  Did these journals help your youth keep a record of the lessons that they would then look back on and not forget?

5-  Could your leaders receive more ideas on creative ways to use these journals in class?

6-  Do you have any suggestions on how they could be improved?

*** I would LOVE to receive some comments from the youth who used these journals.  I would also LOVE some pictures of the journals themselves.  If some of you have time, could you grab a camera and ask your youth to turn to some of their favorite pictures in their journals and snap pictures of them and email them to me?   I may use those pictures on future posts, so please make sure they are comfortable with that.

* ** I have received emails from some of you awesome leaders… and YES these journals will be done in plenty of time for you to give these to your youth for Christmas.

Thank you so much for the time you take to give me your input.

This is one of the greatest thing about this website.  I can ask you what you want – and I really do pay attention and appreciate it.
