3 Nephi 8-11
Following years of wickedness, the government had been destroyed and the Nephite civilization had crumbled. Yet faithful believers watched and waited for the signs to be fulfilled. Finally, through the darkness came the voice of Jesus Christ! And following the darkness, God Himself introduced His beloved Son.
Light flooded the land, and mourning was turned to joy as Christ appeared to the Nephites. After centuries of waiting and hoping, all the prophecies had been fulfilled! One by one, the people touched the prints of the nails in His hands and feet, testifying that He was Jesus Christ, whom the prophets had spoken of.
