This LDS Sharing Time teaching package is designed specifically for December – Week 3. We have provided wonderful teaching tools and suggestions to help your LDS Primary understand how, “Jesus Christ is the Light and the Life of the World.”
This teaching package is over 25 pages and includes the following:
Teaching Ideas and Suggestions
- Tips for Planning a Successful Sharing Time
- Sharing Time Suggestions
- Chalkboard Discussion – These printables are designed go along with the idea found in the lesson outline!
- “Symbols of Christmas” Teaching Activity – Use this meaningful activity to help the Primary children understand how Christmas symbols can help us remember Jesus Christ. The children will take turns opening different envelopes. Each envelope contains an illustrated picture of a Christmas symbol, a description of how it relates to Christ, and a meaningful discussion question.
- “Our Primary Can Light the World…” – Have the Primary children participate in this application activity. The children will write or draw a picture on a paper ornament of one way they will follow the light of Jesus Christ. The children can take home their ornaments and place them on their Christmas trees to remind them of the Savior.

- Note to Parents: For Primary leaders teaching the Sharing Time lesson, “Jesus Grew in Wisdom and Stature and in Favor with God and Man”, this note can be given to each child to take home and give to their parents. This note contains suggested questions the parent could ask and discuss as they continue the child’s learning in the home.
