3 Nephi 8-11 Journal and Marking Guide- The Red Headed Hostess

Here is another marking guide for your scriptures!

This one is for chapters 8-11 in 3 Nephi.

Remember that these are just marking suggestions…. I am not trying to tell you how to mark your scriptures, I am just trying to teach you new ways so that you can do them on your own!  🙂

Along with the marking suggestions are journal suggestions for your TOPICS and CHAPTERS journals.

I also added a new thing that I am kind of excited about.

Every once in a while I add a topic that you can write about specifically to your future posterity.  The purpose of this is so that when we are no longer here to give guidance, testimony and love to those here on earth, our words will be!  I am a firm believer that the Spirit can inspire you now to write things your loved ones will need far into the future.

O.k… here is the 3 Nephi 8-11 PDF:  Marking and journal guide

  1. In 30+ years since joining the church, I have never been this excited about studying the scriptures and coming unto Christ. Thank you for such a precious, precious gift. Thank you just seems so inadequate.

Yours is the email that ALWAYS gets opened immediately. Love your ideas.

  2. someday I am going to be your next door neighbor and insist on being best friends 😉 I LOVE your site! I love your inspiration and willingness to share your ideas. Thank you!!!

  3. Thank you so much for your marking guide… I always learn so much more when I take your notes and combine it with my study and inspiration. Your study guides have helped me better seek out my own inspiration. I also have a question…How do you keep your notes from General Conference Talks…do you have a completely seperate journal or do you add them to your topics journal? I just always keep notes during the talks and I just don’t know what to do with them so that I can keep them organized for when I need to refer back to them, I am just looking for a better system. Thank you for your amazing website!

  4. Thank you so much! I have been coming to your site often but finally this last week sat down and went through this marking suggestion. OMG!! I am so thankful for your tips. Like Heather said, it helped so very much. I enjoyed your suggestions and felt like I learned more than ever before. Of course dear hubby was smirking as I kept calling him at work to clarify or ask other questions. (He is great that way, and knows so much more than I do). Please continue to do this. You are helping so many people. More than just the students in your classes!!!! I am looking forward to and watching for more marking suggestions!

  5. Thank you for sharing your amazing gifts. I’m currently 14 and in my first year of seminary!! I love it, recently my seminary teacher gave us a opportunity for “make up” work. She gave us Understanding the Kingdoms D&C 76. I loved doing that, i asked where she got it and that’s how i got introduced to this website. thank you for making these, i hope to be able to use these experiences on my mission, in my own home in the future, or just sharing the gospel. THANK YOU!
