Imagine a book called the Book of Life—and your

Imagine a book called the Book of Life—and your name is written in it.

Every kind word, good choice, and Christlike action you make is recorded there.

But when we mess up—and we all do—those things are written too.

Mistakes.

Regrets.

Sins.

The good news is this: when we repent, Jesus doesn’t just cross out our sins, He completely removes them.

They’re gone.

In this artwork, you can see those words—the wrong choices—lifting off the page and turning into light.

It’s symbolic of what happens when we sincerely repent.

Jesus remembers them no more.

Repentance isn’t just about saying, “I’m sorry.”

It’s about feeling godly sorrow, turning to God, trying to make things right, and changing our direction.

And it’s not always easy.

But Jesus is with us every step of the way.

When we repent, it’s like the weight we’ve been carrying lifts off.

The guilt, the heaviness is replaced with peace and light.

Not because we’re perfect, but because He is.

I know that Jesus Christ is full of mercy.

He doesn’t shame us for our past.

He offers us a new beginning.

Every time.

That’s the miracle of repentance.

That’s the miracle of His grace.

Doctrine & Covenants 52:14 says, “I will give unto you a pattern in all things, that ye may not be deceived.”

In a world full of voices— online, in school, even in our own minds—it can be hard to know what’s true.

Satan wants to confuse us. He uses half-truths, fear, and pressure to twist what’s right and wrong.

But God doesn’t leave us in the dark. He gives us light.

One of the strongest patterns the Lord gives us is His word in the scriptures.

When we open the scriptures and sincerely seek truth, the Holy Ghost teaches us what’s right.

Elder Marvin J. Ashton said that patterns protect us from “foolish mistakes or dangerous detours.”

The scriptures are part of that pattern—they’re like beams of light, cutting through the confusion and pointing us back to Jesus.

The spiritual light we receive from the spirit gives discernment— the power to tell truth from lies. I know that as we stay in God’s word and follow His patterns, we won’t be deceived.

The Lord will fill us with light, truth, and confidence.
